Weingut Hirsch is one of the leading family wineries in Kamptal (Kamp river valley), Austria, renowned for crafting precise, elegant wines with a strong sense of place. Working mainly with terraced vineyards on primary rock soils and under a continental climate, the estate produces wines of remarkable purity, tension and ageing potential.

Johaness Hirsch's wines are especially known for the mineral-driven expression of Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, offering fresh, vibrant and highly gastronomic profiles. These are wines defined by precision, energy and balance, highly valued by wine lovers and fine dining professionals.

Hirsch Zöbing Riesling 2024 comes from the terraced vineyards surrounding the historic wine village of Zöbing, at the foot of the Heiligenstein hill in Kamptal DAC, Austria. The vines are rooted in a combination of Permian sandstone and gneiss, giving the wine its distinctive minerality, tension and pure stone-fruit character.

Farmed according to certified biodynamic principles, the grapes are hand-harvested, gently whole-bunch pressed and fermented before ageing exclusively in stainless steel tanks. This careful approach preserves the freshness, purity and authentic expression of the Riesling grape.

The result is a vibrant and refined Riesling with aromas of vineyard peach, citrus zest and subtle floral notes. Fresh, mineral and beautifully balanced on the palate, it offers a long, elegant finish and captures the unmistakable character of Zöbing, one of Kamptal's finest Riesling villages.
