Hirsch Ried Grub Kammern Grüner Veltliner 2024 comes from the Ried Grub 1ÖTW (1st Cru) single vineyard in Kammern, Kamptal DAC. Nestled between the Heiligenstein and Gaisberg hills, this sheltered southwest-facing site features calcareous loess soils over the Zöbing Formation of siltstone and sandstone, with pockets of gravel that contribute remarkable minerality, depth and outstanding ageing potential.

The vineyards are farmed according to certified biodynamic principles, with grapes harvested by hand in October. Whole-bunch pressing is followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts, while ageing takes place on the fine lees in a combination of stainless steel tanks and large oak casks, preserving the purity of the vineyard while adding texture and complexity.

The result is an elegant and precise single-vineyard Grüner Veltliner with remarkable tension, creamy texture and refined minerality.
