Singularis is a unique wine in the sense that it will not be produced again... Carlos Lozano, the winemaker at Llanos Negros in Fuencaliente, La Palma, in 2016 decided to conduct an experiment with local minority varieties such as gual and sabro, taking vinification to the extreme. Late harvest has resulted in grapes loaded with sugars however, they managed to ferment everything to about 17º of natural alcohol and leaving the wine dry. (7.1 g of acidity and 3 g of residual sugar). Very well assembled, when tasting it one is surprised that it has that alcoholic content, because it is not appreciated! Vines over 100 years old, planted in volcanic soils at 350 m above sea level, from the 0.7 ha La Tablada plot. An exclusive rarity of only 450 bottles.
