Llanos Negros La Batista 2018
La Batista is a single vineyard wine made from the Aromatic Malvasia grape. Late harvested, the grapes spend more than 10 hours macerating in the winery before fermentation begins, which provides more complexity in both aromas and mouthfeel. Fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks and ends in large 500-liter barrels, where it remains for several months to settle. Vines are over 100 years old, planted on volcanic soils at 350-420 m above sea level, from the La Batista vineyard.
