The aromatic malvasia grapes come from the La Tablada, Los Tabaqueros, La Batista, and La Time plots, from the oldest vines, over 100 years old. Late harvest of almost raisined grapes, of great selection, macerated in the winery for more than 14 hours before starting fermentation with its own yeasts. After fermentation, the wine is transferred to 500-liter barrels for aging on lees for at least 1 year.
This sweet wine from the great 2021 vintage is perfectly balanced with an aromatic and flavour complexity, an enveloping sweetness and a fantastic acidity that won't let you get tired of drinking it!
Label indicates that this is a "Naturally Sweet" wine, meaning that both the sugars and the alcohol are made by nature: super ripe grapes' juice was fermented to 16,5% (no additions of alc.), and the residual sugar content below 100 grams per liter combined with naturally high acidity make that all the elements are integrated resulting in a balanced wine.
Production, as always, is very limited to 1,000 bottles of 0.5 l and a handful of Magnums (of 1.5 liters) like this one - a true collectors item!
