Puro Rofe Masdache 2023

Rayco Fernandez and his team in Lanzarote launched the Puro Rofe project in 2017 and surprised the Canarian wine scene with their single-varietal and single-vineyard wines.

Made from mainly Malvasia Volcanica (or Malvasia de Lanzarote) and some Listan Blanco, grown in the Masdache area in traditional dugout pits by Ascensión Robayna (several Puro Rofe wines are made with her grapes). Harvested at the end of July, spontaneous fermentation, the wine is neither filtered nor clarified and minimal sulphur is added.

Some 1,950 bottles were made of this label.
