A red wine from Michael Wenzel curiously made from the French Pinot Noir grape variety from the Burgenland area known for its high quality wines.

The grapes are grown on a plot of land near the village of Rust itself, with limestone soils.

In the year 2023 Wenzel has decided to carry out an experiment, a unique vinification for his Pinot, as is the case with this Analogue No. 07 (the seventh test-wine), without any oak ageing in order to faithfully reflect the notes of the variety itself together with the sensations of the terroir. The resulting wine is fragrant with very soft tannins, delicate but with a chalky mouthfeel that immediately brings to mind its limestone soils.

A wine for easy drinking now but also with ageing capacity.
