A red wine from Michael Wenzel curiously made from the French Pinot Noir grape variety from the Burgenland area known for its high quality wines.

The grapes are grown on a plot of land near the village of Rust itself, with chalky and clay soils. On the label you can see an enlarged image of a stone from the vineyard itself, which in this presentation resembles a picture of a planet. Fermented with 10% whole bunches to give more freshness and sweet fruit, with prolonged ageing in old barrels to refine the wine.

This 2022 vintage is at its best, lively, with good fruit but at the same time with a rustic touch, with hints of forest aromas along with sweet red fruit notes such as strawberry and cherry.

A wine to enjoy by the glass, with appetizers, salads and white meats with mushroom sauces.
