Woman del Callao 2024 is a special cuvée from Bimbache Vinícola, made in El Hierro from a batch which, due to the particular conditions of the warm 2024 vintage, did not fit into the winery's usual Bimbache Blanco blend. Rather than incorporating it into the regular cuvée, Rayco Fernández and Silvia Viot decided to bottle it separately, resulting in a limited production of just 800 bottles, named after the song most listened to during the harvest.
The wine shows a distinct volcanic character that is so commonly found in Canarian wines, with notes of ripe and even tropical fruit, along with the typical hints of crushed stone, smoke, and ash. On the palate, it stands out for its fine texture, balance, and character, with a long, flavorful saline finish. This small-batch production showcases Bimbache’s ability to work with the unique characteristics of each vintage and transform them into exceptional wines.
