James Eden of Cau Eden continues to surprise us with this orange wine, made from the three Grenache grapes he grows: red, grey and white in different proportions. 70 year old, hillside vineyard with calcareous soils and high schist content.

Simple, artisanal winemaking: fermentation with skins for 4 weeks without temperature control, followed by 4 months of aging in stainless steel tanks. The year 2018 yielded only 700 bottles of this delicacy.

Compared to its younger sister Perséphone, Aurélia is more forceful, with more body and textures, a long drink that can be combined with stronger dishes.
