Manuel Cantalapiedra Obertura 2023

Manuel Cantalapiedra has launched his personal project under the same name in order to distinguish them from the family winery Cantalapiedra Viticultores.

Verdejo from very old vines in La Seca, artisan production with 12 months' ageing in used barrels and subsequent refinement in steel tanks, with minimal sulphur addition for preservation (15 mg/l). Vibrant acidity and marked austerity; in blind tasting it is more reminiscent of Jura than Verdejo. Enjoyable now, with great potential for evolution in the bottle.
