Venus la Universal is the personal project of Sara Pérez and René Barbier.
This wine, Venus de la Figuera, is made from red Grenache grapes, which are grown organically in Figuera, specifically on a plot at an altitude of 600 metres.
Winemaking notes: natural production, fermented in open 500-litre French oak barrels, with prolonged maceration for 30-35 days but without much punching down in order to preserve all the freshness of these grapes and not extract too much tannin. The wine is then transferred to 300-litre amphorae for 18 months of ageing before bottling.
The wine has been stored in our climate-controlled warehouses and is in perfect condition for consumption.
