Valencian Merseguera from a singular plot of land
Out of stock
The Merseguera grape, native to the Valencia area, in this case grown in Alto Turia and in a singular plot of 0.45 ha over 35 years old on sandstone soils (composed of white calcareous clay over sandstone parent rock). Cultivated under biodynamic principles since 2015, without irrigation.
The 2016 vintage in the area was dry and hot which gave small but healthy berries. Harvested on October 16, whole cluster press, fermented with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperature, with subsequent aging on lees. 930 bottles.
Natural vinification without added sulfites, the label is an image of the vineyard soils.
