Sexto Elemento David & Goliath 2021

Vino Sexto Elemento is a family project started in 2000 in Venta del Moro (near Utiel) and has become a benchmark for natural wines made in the Utiel-Requena area although they are not under the D.O. This David and Goliath is made from the bobal variety, in a natural way, as no chemical ingredients are added. It is a classic and pleasant wine, aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months, although the method of production is not traditional: the wine ferments and ages on the lees during this period. Bobal of high expression, from old vines planted in the black clay soils, typical of the area, and from the winery's "youngest" vineyard, which is about 60 years old.
