Jade Gross Harrobia 2022

Harrobia by Jade Gross is a red wine from the 2021 vintage, made by the multifaceted Jade with the help of Abel Mendoza in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, a municipality under the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin.

This wine is made with the most widespread and typical variety of Rioja: Tempranillo.

The grapes come from the "La Cantera" plot located in Labastida, Rioja Alavesa. 36-year-old goblet-trained (bush vines) vineyard planted on clay-limestone soil at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level.

The grapes were harvested by hand on 20 September 2022, and the destemmed grapes were fermented in an open stainless steel tank. The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

A very exclusive red wine from La Rioja of which there are only 1790 bottles in existence. A real rarity!
