Corza Beoda by Jade Gross is a red wine from the 2023 vintage, made by the multifaceted Jade with the help of Abel Mendoza in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, a municipality under the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin.
This wine is made with the most widespread and typical variety of Rioja: Tempranillo.
The grapes come from the “La Cantera” plot located in Labastida, Rioja Alavesa. 36-year-old goblet-trained (bush vines) vineyard planted on clay-limestone soil at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level.
The grapes were harvested by hand on 28 of September 2023, and the grapes fermented in open tanks while the resulting wine spent 6 months on lees in a stainless steel tank.
A very exclusive Rioja red wine of which there are only 660 individually numbered bottles. An absolute rarity for this purple-coloured wine!
