Harrobia by Jade Gross is a red wine from the 2021 vintage, made by the multifaceted Jade with the help of Abel Mendoza in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, a municipality under the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin.
This wine is made with the most widespread and typical variety of Rioja: Tempranillo.
The grapes come from the “La Cantera” plot located in Labastida, Rioja Alavesa. 36-year-old goblet-trained (bush vines) vineyard planted on clay-limestone soil at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level.
The grapes were harvested by hand on 7 October 2021, and the must fermented with 70% whole bunches in an open stainless steel tank. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
A very exclusive Rioja red wine of which there are only 958 manually numbered bottles. An absolute rarity!
