Cau Eden makes this orange wine with Muscat grapes from a 45 year old vineyard (90%) and a small portion of Grenache Gris from a 70 year old vineyard. Almost all the grapes are destemmed for fermentation with skins, and about 7 days after finishing the first phase, the wine is transferred to old barrels for aging for 8 months and subsequent storage in stainless steel tanks until bottling. Only 800 bottles!
It should be noted that it is difficult to detect that the wine is made with such an aromatic variety as muscatel, it is very floral with abundant herbaceous and fruity notes that invites you to enjoy the glass with some appetizers or oysters.
